From November 17–20, Cengage Learning attended the NAEYC Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida. Cengage Learning had a delightful time with Education professors and students in the booth, in Focus Groups, and at the Award Ceremonies.
Many instructors and students attended in-booth demos to learn about our personalized learning platform, MindTap. During one demo, an impressed instructor mentioned how much easier her life was going to be with MindTap. The provided assignments, including scenario-based problems that reflect real-life teaching situations, augment student learning while minimizing the instructors’ work in administering a digital course. Instructors can modify the platform based on their syllabus and according to state accreditation standards, benefitting students and instructors alike.
Instructors enjoyed themselves at the Focus Groups and gave us informative feedback that will help shape future iterations of MindTap. During one Focus Group, an instructor exclaimed, “even if the content wasn’t great, which it is, I’d still choose Cengage for the excellent customer service!” Cengage Learning continues to align with instructors and build products that meet instructors’ needs, all while nurturing the growth of preservice teachers.
On November 18th, there was an Award Ceremony where two of our prestigious authors were recognized for outstanding work in the Education field. The NAECTE Outstanding Practitioner Award was presented to Isauro Escamilla and the NAECTE Outstanding Dissertation Award was presented to Dr. Ingrid Anderson. Partnering with outstanding members of the NAEYC community exemplifies the exceptional work Cengage Learning is doing in the Education field.
