The emergency pivot to online learning has impacted many campuses and created uncertainty for institutions across the country. To salvage the semester, 97% of institutions called upon faculty with no prior online teaching experience for some of their courses. Adapting curriculum on the fly, faculty were forced to adjust student expectations and explore new instructional methods to replicate in-person classes.
