Reading Time: < 1 minuteAssisting Program Director Teresa Ray teaches Dental Assisting at Lawson State Community College. Her biggest challenge was twofold when it came to designing her course. She had to make learning interesting and engaging for students and ensure they completed their work.
Upon discovering MindTap, Teresa learned that she could designate assignments for students to complete before coming to lab. This way, students would have to complete an activity to gain a “ticket” of entry to the lab.
Not only did this provide engaging homework opportunities for students, but it also motivated them to move through the course with ease.
