The Beginning I have been in education for 11 years—a third of my life. I have been into technology for even longer. When it comes to technology, I’m self-taught and persistent. In addition to personal and professional growth, empowered learners build stronger communities and improved outcomes for all. In fact, some policymakers have dedicated their careers to supporting strategies that serve students more effectively. Dedicated to Expanding Educational Access

Like their peers around the country, educators at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College (RCCC) in Salisbury, North Carolina are always seeking ways to improve the teaching and learning experience. One strategy that has generated good results is to make it as easy and appealing as possible for students to access and use course materials. Partnering with Cengage Learning, Rowan-Cabarrus initiated an inclusive access program in 2014.
